NUESTRA HISTORIA<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

El 20 de septiembre de 1947 Monse\u00f1or Afanador y Cadena erigi\u00f3 la Parroquia Santa Mar\u00eda Magdalena. Primer P\u00e1rroco Ram\u00f3n Mart\u00ednez quien se quejaba de lo incongrua que era la Parroquia. El Padre Pedro Pablo Serrano, que profesaba un gran cari\u00f1o a la feligres\u00eda, se ofreci\u00f3 para ir all\u00ed y renunci\u00f3 a la Parroquia de Rionegro. Posteriormente enferm\u00f3 y muri\u00f3. Lo sustituy\u00f3 el Padre Pedro Le\u00f3n Parada Fern\u00e1ndez quien se intern\u00f3 en aquella lejan\u00eda; encari\u00f1ado con sus gentes y sus labores parroquiales construy\u00f3 un templo precioso, estableci\u00f3 una planta el\u00e9ctrica y hasta llev\u00f3 acueducto a no pocas viviendas.<\/p>\n
