NUESTRA HISTORIA<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Algunos vecinos insistieron al Se\u00f1or Obispo, Monse\u00f1or Jos\u00e9 Luis Ni\u00f1o, para que erigiera en la regi\u00f3n de Cantabria una Parroquia y \u00e9l le nombr\u00f3 al Padre Bernardino G\u00f3mez. Posteriormente el 1\u00ba de julio de 1881 se estableci\u00f3 la parroquia en Lebrija y se suprimi\u00f3 la de Cantabria.<\/p>\n

El Padre Joaqu\u00edn Uribe Villarreal construy\u00f3 el primer templo, frente al actual que fue iniciado por el Padre Luis Mar\u00eda Figueroa.<\/p>\n

En abril de 1896, con motivo de la guerra, se suprimieron los trabajos que fueron reanudados en 1911 y el 19 de marzo de 1931 se bendijo la c\u00fapula.<\/p>\n
