El progreso y el continuo crecimiento del Barrio Caracol\u00ed, en Floridablanca, llev\u00f3 a Monse\u00f1or Dar\u00edo Castrill\u00f3n Hoyos a tomar la decisi\u00f3n de erigir una nueva parroquia el 8 de septiembre de 1996, que fue confiada a la direcci\u00f3n pastoral del Padre Jos\u00e9 Octavio Cabrera quien con pausa y tino edifico la comunidad en lo espiritual y lo material.<\/p>\n

Actualmente se encuentra pastoreando la comunidad el presb\u00edtero Reinaldo Caicedo Duarte<\/em>.<\/p>\n
